KATHLEEN M. LINNANE
I am the founder and Managing Partner of Linnane & Associates.

As a business owner and consultant, I have experienced the countless legal concerns business ownership involves. I have worked with business owners in various stages of organization, assisting startups establish business entities and build frameworks to support growing companies. I partner with business leadership teams to develop policies and advise ongoing compliance strategies, and I deliver business leadership and government-mandated training workshops to organizations of all sizes.
I bring workable solutions that enable resolution and sustainability. I am committed to empowering my clients through the law by collaborating closely and working within the parameters of individual needs and resources to develop a tailored approach and deliver intelligent, optimal outcomes.
I have a doctorate in Human Ecology, and my practice merges expertise gained through my research and education with legal principles of negotiation and progress. I have collaborated with a New York State Task Force to develop and recommend legislation concerning controversial issues at the intersection of science, ethics, and public policy, including reproductive technologies and organ donation advocacy. I have litigated on behalf of incarcerated minors and for persons in New York State State Civil and Supreme courts. I have consulted with startups and in-house counsel to implement risk mitigation policies.
I am an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Law at Brooklyn Law School, where I work with students seeking legal leadership skills to develop social change initiatives through the lens of diversity and inclusion.
